Earlier today, Apple seeded the first developer beta for macOS Sierra to developers, just a day after releasing the new operating system to the public.
Apart from changing the name of Apple’s desktop operating system macOS Sierra also brings a range of big and small features including Siri, Apple Pay, Universal Clipboard, Optimized Storage, improvements for Photos, Messages, iTunes and more.
It is not clear what improvements the first update to macOS Sierra will bring, but it’s likely to include bug fixes and performance improvements for issues that have been encountered between the time between the beta testing period and release.
The macOS Sierra 10.12.1 developer beta 1 is available as a download from Apple’s dedicated developer site. A public beta will probably be available soon.
