Apple today seeded the fourth beta of iOS 11.1 update to developers, just four days after releasing the third iOS 11.1 beta and a month after releasing the iOS 11 update to the public.
Apple has already confirmed that several different iOS 11 features would be available in a future update to the platform, so these beta seeds could be preparing the software for their arrival.
Those features include iCloud for Messages, Apple Pay Cash, which allows customers to quickly transfer money within iMessages, and Apple is also planning on rolling out new emoji characters in iOS 11 as well. Apple has also already confirmed that iOS 11.1 will welcome brand new emoji to the platform.
iOS 11.1 beta 4 is available for all models of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that support iOS 11. If you are a registered developer who is already running iOS 11.1 beta, then you can download the beta from the software update section of your device. If you are installing iOS 11.1 beta for the first time, then you have to download the configuration profile from developer.apple.com.
