Popular : Your Most Used Apps in The Switcher – Compatible With iOS 8
If you’re looking to replace the recent contacts and the favorite contacts in the App Switcher with something more useful, you’d probably be interested in a new jailbreak tweak known as ‘Popular’.
The tweak keeps track of your most used apps and displays them in the App Switcher along with your favorite apps. This allows you to launch your frequently used apps much more quickly rather than search them via Spotlight.
The tweak starts to keep track of the usage time of each of your apps once you install it. Once it gets enough information, it will start to display your most used apps in the App Switcher.
Once you install Popular, a new preferences pane will be added to the Settings app where you can view the statistics (usage time) of each of your apps. You can also choose the favorite apps to be displayed in the App Switcher, blacklist various apps from being displayed as well as select the maximum amount of most used apps to be shown. The tweak can display up to 75 most used apps in the App Switcher.
Once you launch the App Switcher, you can swipe the most used apps row to the left or the right to scroll through all the apps.
