GBA4iOS: Game Boy Advance emulator For iOS 8.4 – 8.3 (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

 

Do you know you can run play the Game Boy Advance games on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running on iOS 8.2 , iOS 8.3 or iOS 8.4 ! Yes folks, that’s true.

Those of you who are into playing classic arcade games on iOS devices would be familiar with the popular GBA4iOS app, which allowed non-jailbroken iPhone and iPad users to download the emulator and play their favorite games. The app that was later denied entry to the App Store by Apple due to legal issues used a vulnerability in iOS that allowed the developer to inject his app into a non-jailbroken iOS device by making user change the date on his or her device.

 Sadly in iOS 8.1 Apple has finally fixed the date vulnerability, which means it will block GBA4iOS and other similar apps from being installed on a device. Since there’s no way of GBA4iOS to come back to the App Store the developer has finally decided to release the popular app in Cydia. This will allow jailbreak users to simply download their favorite emulator from the store without needing to change dates on their device. It will be as easy as download a tweak or any other app from Cydia.
Great thing about this release is that once iOS 8.2 , iOS 8.3  and iOS 8.4 jailbreak is released publicly the app start work on it right away just like it does on iOS 7.
GBA4iOS 2.1 has already entered beta stage. It bring exciting new features that includes multiplayer support, better UI, selectable color palettes for Game Boy games, homepage feature for the web browser and more importantly support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Finally after a long wait we are able to install a completely functioning GBA Emulator iOS 8.3 & iOS 8.4. This works on the latest iOS 8.3 firmware, 8.4, 8.2 and any and all older firmwares. This is completely free and require a Jailbreak.

How to Install GBA4iOS Emulator Free on iOS 8.2, iOS 8.3 & iOS 8.4

Step 1: Open Cydia

Step 2: Search for ” GBA4iOS ”

Step 3: Click the red download arrow and select ‘GBA4iOS’,  and install.

Step 4: Now, just one step is remaining, launch the app , open Google and search your favorite ROMs to play new excited games on your iPhone using GBA4iOS for iOS 8.4 / 8.3 / 8.2 / 8.1.3 .

Once it is install, launch the app from your homescreen. Enjoy playing Game Boy Advance games on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running on iOS 8.2 or iOS 8.3 or iOS 8.4 for free and if you face any problem, email the developers.

    Really wanna play GBA games on my iPhone 5, with iOS 8.4.1 (no jailbreak), but every time I try installing the app, I get the message “Unable to Download App” – “GBA4iOS” could not be installed at this time. (options to press are done and retry). What can I do?

    • Hi,
      to install GBA4iOS using this method you need to be jailbroken , so as there is no jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1 yet i think it’s hard , there is other methods for unjailbroken devices , but it’s not safe as this method ( many crashes + many games not working ) .

      today apple released iOS 9 , so we hope an iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak will be out soon .
