#1 – Convos : For many the stock Messages app is their most used section of iOS. This app lets you communicate with your friends through iMessage and SMS. The new Convos tweak makes the experience of using the app better by letting you customize how it works and adding new features to it. The changes Convos makes to this stock iOS app make us wonder why Apple didn’t have them as part of the application in the first place. This tweak adds features like pinned conversations, conversation sorting and more.

With Convos installed on your jailbroken device you can pin any conversation to the top of the conversation list page. This feature also prevents a conversation from getting deleted as it blocks the delete function for pinned conversations. You can mark any conversation that was previously read as unread to remind yourself to come back to it later. You can also have time stamps show in natural language.

Convos tweak allows users to make visual changes to the Messages app including the ability to change the color of the conversation items, remove table separators to get a minimalistic look, remove tap selection, remove URL underlines that appear in message bubbles. It also adds the ability for user to hide sender’s name and more.

Convos tweak is available in Cydia for $1.29 and supports all versions of iOS 8.

#2 – InstaCode : Users who have passcode turned on would know how annoying it is to first slide on the screen in order to get to the ‘passcode screen’ and then enter the code to unlock the device. This behavior of iOS adds an unnecessary step that does nothing good and wastes time. The new InstaCode tweak solves this problem by merging the first page of lockscreen, which shows the time, date and music controls with the passcode screen. This means both date and passcode keypad will appear on a single screen, and you will be able to enter the passcode to access the device without performing ‘Slide to Unlock’ gesture.

With InstaCode installed all you have to do is press the lock button or the home button and simply enter your passcode. From settings, you can also disable the emergency, cancel and delete buttons if you like minimalism.

InstaCode is compatible with many other lockscreen related apps. It will also display the notifications and music controls on the lockscreen if they are available to show. In that case you will have to slide to access the keypad.

You can download InstaCode tweak from Cydia for free. It is available through the BigBoss repo and supports iOS 8 powered devices.

#3 – KeySwipe : I find it kind of tedious to switch between keyboards on iOS. I find it tedious, because have to tap that little language button, which requires a precise tap on the keyboard.

Instead, wouldn’t it be nice if you could just perform a simple swipe gesture to switch between the keyboards that you have configured? A new tweak called KeySwipe lets you do just that.

To use KeySwipe, open an app that invokes the keyboard, and perform a swipe-up or swipe-down gesture on the keyboard. Once you do, the keyboard will switch to the next or previous one in the list of configured keyboards; simple, and to the point.

If you want a more intuitive way to switch between keyboards in iOS, then you may want to try KeySwipe. At only $0.99, there’s not much investment here, and the return on investment may be quite high depending on how often you switch between keyboards on iOS.
#4 – Floater : The new Floater tweak gives a different look to certain UI elements of the iOS homescreen to make them look like they are floating on the screen. Normally these elements that includes the Control Center, Notification Center and the icon dock and others are attached to sides of the screen, however this tweak changes that. It separates the elements from the side of the screen by scaling them down, creating an empty space and making their edges rounded.

With Floater you can customize the look of several parts of iOS including the Control Center, Notification Center, dock, app switcher, screen corners, notification banners, prediction bar of the stock iOS keyboard and swipe action buttons of lockscreen and the Notification Center.  You get full control over tweak’s working as you can turn Floater on or off for each UI element from the Settings page.

You can download Floater tweak from Cydia for free. It is compatible with all versions of iOS 8 and works with other popular tweaks including Auxo, TinyBar and Couria.

#5 – InstaMute : Instagram is one of the most popular apps on iOS platform and is perhaps the biggest photo sharing social network. If you are an Instagram user then you would know that you can follow people on the service and get the photos they share right in your feed, the concept is pretty simple. However, have you been in a situation when you have to follow someone but don’t want their post to appear in your feed. If yes, then the newly released InstaMute tweak is something you should download on your device.

InstaMute is a simple Cydia tweak that allows users to ‘mute’ certain people they are following. Once someone has been muted you will no longer get their shared images in your Instagram feed. They will still appear in your ‘following’ list and you will still be able to view the images they have shared on their profile page.

You can mute or unmute an Instagram user you are following by opening their profile page and then tapping on the ‘…’ button located on top right side of the screen. You can also remove people from the mute list from tweak’s preference page found within the Settings app.

InstaMute tweak is available in Cydia for free. It supports iOS 8 and Instagram version 7.3, which is latest as of right now.
#6 – RomanPasscode : While we are spicing things up on your iPhone why not replace the boring old numeric keypad buttons of the passcode screen with Roman numerals. That is exactly what RomanPasscode does and it is available for free.
#7 – FrontCamUnMirror : When you are taking selfies with your iPhone’s front camera you might have noticed that the device shows you a mirror like image of yourself, however when you take the photo it flips it. This is done because the front camera view of the Camera app is configured to show you the image as it appears on a mirror, because that’s how we are used to of seeing ourselves. But when you actually hit the capture button it flips the photo to reflect the real angle of the image.

If you have been looking for a way to see the un-mirrored view of your selfies before you take them then FrontCamUnMirror tweak is the way to go. It lets you remove the mirroring effect from the stock Camera app, showing you the exact image that your iPhone’s camera sees. This is also the same image that is saved when you take a selfie using the front cam of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

FrontCamUnMirror tweak adds the un-mirror toggle button on the top left side so you can conveniently enable or disable it whenever you like.

You can download the FrontCamUnMirror tweak from Cydia for free. It works with iOS 7 and iOS 8 powered devices.
#8 – AniBanner : If you are looking for tweaks to spice things up on your iOS device then start with the newly released AniBanner. This tweak adds a nice and smooth animation to the notification banner as seen in the GIF above. From settings, you can configure transparency of the animation, corner radius, banner tint and more. AniBanner is available for $0.99.
#9 – Hide Badge Text : If you are someone who likes the homescreen’s notification badges but don’t like them constantly reminding you how many unread emails there are in your inbox, then try Hide Badge Text tweak. As its name suggests it simply hides the number from the badges, only showing the red badge on app icons that have pending notifications. You can download it for free.
#10 – Velox Lite : Velox Lite is a stripped down version of the Velox 2 tweak and provides the same functionality but with less customization options. You can download it for free.
