Apple Seeds OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan Beta 1 to Public Beta Testers

Apple has just seeded the first beta of OS X 10.11.5 beta to public beta testers, just a day after releasing the first OS X 10.11.5 beta to developers and two weeks after releasing OS X 10.11.4, the fourth update to the OS X 10.11 operating system.

As far as what’s new, it looks like OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 is a minor update, with tweaks and improvements behind-the-scenes. However, if anything is discovered in the public beta, we’ll update accordingly.

The new beta is available through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store for those who are enrolled in Apple’s beta testing program. Those wishing to join the program can sign up on Apple’s beta testing website.
