Apple has just seeded the first beta of OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan to developers for testing purposes, one week after releasing OS X 10.11.5, the fifth update to the OS X 10.11 operating system.
This update is probably small in scope, just like 10.11.5 was, and focused on behind-the-scenes tweaks and enhancements for the user. If there are any forward facing updates to the software, though, we’ll update this post accordingly.
Here are the release notes for OS X 10.11.6:
The OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.
The OS X 10.11.6 update, build 15G7a, can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store.
