The wait for the much awaited Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak is almost over. Pwn20wnd who is working with coolstar on the iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak has confirmed that Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak is “now fully complete.”
He goes on to say that Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak will be released as soon as the initial remount code is stable. This comes just a day after coolstar had confirmed that Electra can fully jailbreak iOS 11.3.1.

Pwn20wnd has clarified that the jailbreak code was “the jailbreak code was done a few days ago”, and now the “tool is also done.” It is however not clear how much more time coolstar will need to make the initial remount code stable.
coolstar has also shared the screenshot of his iPad Pro with Cydia and the Electra jailbreak app sporting the cool new icon.
Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak will also be a semi-tethered jailbreak like Electra iOS 11.1.2 jailbreak. A semi-untethered jailbreak is similar to an untethered jailbreak, it gives the ability to reboot your iOS device on its own. On each boot, the iOS device startup sequence is unmodified and it boots into its original, non-jailbroken state. However, instead of needing to use a tool from a computer to re-jailbreak the iOS device again, like a tethered or semi-tethered cases, the user can re-jailbreak their device with the help of an app running on the iOS device such as the Electra app in case of Electra jailbreak.
It will support all iOS 11 versions except for iOS 11.4 and iOS 11.4.1 which is currently in beta as Apple has patched the iOS 11.3.1 kernel exploit released by Ian Beer in iOS 11.4. So it will support iOS 11.2, iOS 11.2.1, iOS 11.2.5, iOS 11.2.6, iOS 11.3, iOS 11.3.1 and also iOS 11 – iOS 11.1.2.
The iOS 11.3.1 kernel exploit was released almost two weeks back by Ian Beer, so it is commendable to see that coolstar and his team have managed to make so much progress, and may release the Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak very soon. The jailbreak is being tested only by coolstar, Pwn20wnd and nullriver to avoid any leaks like last time. So any Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak leaks would either be a fake or a malware.
