Good News : iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak soon !
Over the last few hours, rumors have swirled on reddit and other places that we could see a jailbreak released for iOS 8.4.1. If you are running iOS 8.4.1 on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch then you are up for a pleasant surprise, as developer Luca Todesco has announced that he will be releasing an iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak soon. Previously on iOS 8.4 was jailbreak-able.
The good news is that if a jailbreak is released for iOS 8.4.1, everyone, at least as of this writing, can enjoy it. That’s because Apple is still signing the iOS 8.4.1 firmware for all devices. When this will change is anyone’s guess, but Apple usually closes its signing window for older firmware in relatively short order.
While he has not specified a time he will be releasing the jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1, in his tweets he insists that it works and will be released as soon as it is ready. This is not only a good news for those who are running iOS 8.4.1 already but alao for users who are running older or newer versions. Apple is still signing iOS 8.4.1, so even if you are not running this particular iOS version, you can still install it on your device, and jailbreak it when a tool is released for public.

With this in mind, some of you may want to consider downgrading to iOS 8.4.1 now if you’re strongly interested in a jailbreak, just in case the rumors turn out to be true. Of course, you can always upgrade again later, but once Apple closes the iOS 8.4.1 signing window, you won’t be able to downgrade at all.
Remember, Apple closed its iOS 8.4 signing window back on August 22nd. This was 9 days after it released iOS 8.4.1 to the public. Apple closed iOS 8.3 back on July 7th, which was a mere 7 days following the release of iOS 8.4 on June 30th. Moral of the story? There’s probably not much time left for iOS 8.4.1, as it’s already been 8 days since iOS 9 was pushed to the public.

As I always recommend, you can check the signing status of iOS 8.4.1 by visiting IPSW.me/8.4.1. This is by far the best place to check signing statuses for all of Apple’s iOS releases across all of its devices.
What do you think ? Will we see a jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1 ?
