Pangu 1.2 released for iOS 9 jailbreak, includes the latest version of Cydia, and bug fixes
Pangu has released a new version of their iOS 9 Jailbreak tool for Windows, with an update to its untether package for those of you who are already jailbroken. Pangu 1.2.0 includes the latest version of Cydia, and some bug fixes.
If you’re already jailbroken, open Cydia and refresh in order to view the latest Pangu untether package. Use this package to update to the latest version of Pangu without needing to re-jailbreak using the Windows tool.
Here is the complete changelog for Pangu 1.2.0:
- Bundle latest Cydia with new Patcyh which fixed failure to open url scheme in MobileSafari
- Fixed the bug that “preferences -> Storage&iCloud Usage -> Manage Storage” keeps spinning
If you were not able to successfully jailbreak your device, then you can try again using Pangu 1.2.0 jailbreak. You can download it from our Jailbreak tool page. Pangu iOS 9 – iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak is currently only available for Windows users. Pangu team seems to be working on the Mac version, and have said that it is “coming soon” on their website.

As we’ve reported earlier, Apple has patched two Pangu iOS 9 Jailbreak vulnerabilities in iOS 9.1, so you won’t be able to use Pangu Jailbreak if you’ve upgraded to iOS 9.1. You will need to downgrade to iOS 9.0.2 to be able jailbreak your iOS device.
