Apple Releases watchOS 2.2 for Apple Watch to the public

watchOS 2.2 is not as major a release as iOS 9.3, but it does provide Apple Watch owners the ability to pair more than one wearable to an iPhone, as long as that iPhone is running the iOS 9.3. It also enhances the Maps app with a new screen of actions and Nearby search powered by Yelp.

To download watchOS 2.2, you’ll need an iPhone which has been updated to iOS 9.3. You’ll then need to open the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone, navigate to General > Software Update and tap on Download and Install. The Apple Watch has to have at least 50 percent battery, has to be placed on the Apple Watch charger, and has to be in range of the iPhone equipped with iOS 9.3.

What’s your favorite new feature in watchOS 2.2, and why?
