watchOS 3 comes with a number of new features, but most importantly, it packs some major performance improvements that greatly improve the responsiveness of the OS and third-party apps. Some of the new features that are a part of watchOS 3 include Control Center, Dock, new watch faces, APIs for developers, background app refresh, and more. You can read more about watchOS 3 here.

To get watchOS 3 beta on your Apple Watch, you will have to install the configuration profile from Apple’s developer centre directly on the watch to receive the OTA update.

The first beta of tvOS 10 is also available for download through the Developer Centre. tvOS 10 comes with new features like Live Tune-in, Single sign-on to sign in to all apps at once, a smarter Siri with third-party app integration, a Dark mode, and more.

tvOS 10 beta is only meant for the Apple TV 4. Like with the Apple Watch, you need to install a configuration profile directly on the device to receive the OTA update to tvOS 10 beta 1. While Apple is also providing an image for restoration purposes, make sure that you have Xcode 8 installed on your Mac before you start with the actual restore process.
