Call Recorder (iOS) Tweak to Record Calls and any System audio on iPhone

There are some things that Apple just doesn’t allow users to do on iOS, which means that unless you are willing to go the jailbreak route and deal with the fun and games that it can bring, you’re unfortunately out of luck. Recording phone calls is one of those things, and while there are plenty of legitimate reasons to want to record a telephone call, Apple simply refuses to make it possible or even permissible on iOS.

Jailbroken users have been able to easily record their phone calls for ages now, so if you have been looking for a Cydia tweak that would let you record phone calls  on iOS 10 then stop looking and download the Call Recorder (iOS) tweak now. The tweak not only lets users record audio calls on their iPhone and iPad but also lets them record system audio, which means you can record any audio coming out of your iOS device. Call Recorder (iOS) comes with tons of features and options that make it a worthy download and is much more powerful than the stock Voice Recorder app found on iOS.

With Call Recorder (iOS) you can record audio for normal phone calls, Facetime audio and video calls, calls made on apps like Skype, Viber, Tango, LINE etc. On top of that you also get the ability to record any audio coming out of your device, something that is not possible with the stock recording app. The best thing about this tweak is that it keeps all the recordings safe on your device’s local memory. You can also activate the sync feature that will automatically transfer new records to your Dropbox or Google Drive accounts. Recordings can be shared with anyone, transferred to a PC as well as exported to third-party apps.

Call Recorder (iOS) is one of the best Cydia tweak till date. The tweak is supported by all devices from iPhone 4S to latest iPhone 7 running latest iOS 10. The only restriction with the tweak is that if you are using an iPhone 4s then you might need to switch on the speaker on your device to record calls. We have tried the iOS call recorder Cydia tweak and it is pretty amazing. The tweak is a paid one and it costs only $2.99 which is a reasonable price for the features provided by the application.

If you don’t already own a jailbroken device and want to get it jailbroken you can use Yalu 102 jailbreak for iOS 10/ iOS 10.2. After you have jailbroken your device you will need to launch Cydia and add http://hacx.org/repo/. When the repo is added just search for Call Recorder (iOS). This is a free update for owners of the previous version whereas it costs $2.99 for the new users.

For the red status bar record icon, just install Libmooreicons, it’s a replacement to libStatusBar. you can find it on this repo : http://tateu.net/repo/

You can follow below details to add iOS Call recorder Cydia tweak on your device:

  1. Open Cydia application on your device.
  2. Next Click on Sources >> Edit & Enter http://hacx.org/repo/ in the url field and tap on Add Source.
  3. It may take a while for Cydia to download the repo.
  4. Next search for “Call Recorder (iOS)” and select “Call Recorder” and install it.
  5. Restart your device and Now you can record calls on your iPhone.

In some cases you might find tweaks like these useful. So whatever your reason for using Call Recorder (iOS) just be careful and learn about the laws in your Country about the usage of such features.
