Apple Seeds First Beta of iOS 11 to Developers

Following the conclusion of today’s keynote event where Apple introduced new versions of its iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS software, Apple has just provided the first beta to developers, kicking off the iOS 11 beta testing period.

Apple unveiled iOS 11 during today’s WWDC Keynote address. It includes hundreds of new features and improvements for the iPhone and iPad, such as powerful multitasking features and the new Files app for the iPad, Pay friends with Apple Pay, Do Not Disturb While Driving, AR Experiences, improved Siri, redesigned Control Center, redesigned App Store, and lots more.

It is available for the following iOS devices:

The iOS 11 beta is only available for registered developers at this time. Registered developers can download the iOS 11 beta from Apple’s Developer Center, or over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed.

Jailbreakers should avoid installing iOS 11 beta as you will not only end up losing the jailbreak, but you will also won’t be able to jailbreak your device as jailbreak tools are not released for beta versions.

We expect iOS 11 beta to reveal tons of new features and changes, which Apple didn’t showcase at today’s event, so stay tuned here at iappTweak.com.
