Another week, another roundup. This one encompasses all the jailbreak tweaks released in Cydia from Monday, November 26th to Sunday, December 2nd.
As usual, we’ll kick things off by talking about our favorite releases and then outline the rest afterward.
Our favorite releases this week
BadgeColors – $0.50
Your iPhone’s missed notification badges are all red by default, and you can’t configure them out of the box on a stock device. But if you’re jailbroken, then why deal with boring notification badges when you don’t have to?
BadgeColors is a new jailbreak tweak that automatically colorizes your Home screen’s badge notifications to match the primary color of the app icon it represents. The tweak automatically colors the text inside the badge to be legible no matter what color it is.
IG Video – FREE
If you’re familiar with the popular Instagram app on the iOS platform, then you probably know that it limits your video uploads to 60 seconds.
Whenever you have an itch to upload a significant longer video, a new free jailbreak tweak called IG Video can help. It purportedly lets you upload videos of unlimited lengths, letting you share everything you need to with a tap.
While it appears to work flawlessly and hasn’t led to any disciplinary actions on the developer’s Instagram account, we recommend proceeding with caution anyway.
