Aside from seeding iOS 10.3 beta 1 to its registered developers, Apple also seeded the first beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.4 to developers, more than one month after releasing macOS Sierra 10.12.2 and four months since the debut of the new macOS Sierra operating system. macOS Sierra 10.12.4 one day after Apple released macOS Sierra 10.12.3.
One of the primary new additions is the arrival of Night Shift, which has been available in iOS for a bit of time now. With the feature, Mac owners will be able to set a schedule so that their display will automatically shift hues, making it easier to look at the display at night.

- Siri can now tell users more about the Indian Premier League and International Cricket Council. Siri can read out/show scores, rosters, and more.
- Dictation now supports Shanghainese
- Apps that support the PDFKit API will now display PDFs much better
The first macOS Sierra 10.12.4 beta is available for download through the Apple Developer Center or the software update mechanism in the Mac App Store. A public beta will likely be available for public beta testers later this week.
